Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the Metanoiaapp (“the app”, “we”), a Christian devotional app operated by Edson dos Santos (NegTec), based in Patos de Minas/MG, Brazil, collects, uses and protects your personal data, in accordance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13.709/2018).

1. Data we collect

  • Account: the name and email address you provide when creating your account.
  • Authentication: when you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive an account identifier and the associated email address.
  • Notifications: a notification token (push / Firebase Cloud Messaging) used to deliver the devotional messages.
  • Usage and diagnostics: aggregated usage data and error/crash reports, used to keep the app stable (via Sentry).
  • Subscription: the status of your Metanoia+ subscription. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store and Google Play — we do not collect or store card or payment details.

2. How we use your data

  • To provide and keep the app running;
  • To authenticate your access and protect your account;
  • To send devotional messages and notifications;
  • To manage your Metanoia+ subscription;
  • To improve features, fix errors and provide support.

3. Sharing with processors

We do not sell your data. We share the minimum necessary with providers that operate the service on our behalf:

  • Supabase — authentication, database and storage;
  • Google Firebase — push notification delivery;
  • Sentry — error monitoring;
  • RevenueCat, Apple and Google — subscription processing and management.

4. Data retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the app itself. After the request, your data is held in temporary deletion (soft-delete) for 30 days and is then permanently removed, except where retention is required by law.

5. Your rights (LGPD)

At any time you may request: confirmation of processing and access to your data; correction of incomplete or outdated data; anonymization or deletion; portability; and withdrawal of consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.

6. Security

We adopt technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No system is 100% secure, but we work continuously to keep your information protected.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we identify data in such conditions, it will be removed.

8. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.
